The Twin Peaks/David Lynch Community Has A Lot More to Go...

Hello, fellow Twin Peakers and Lynchian aficionados!

For the past two weekends, I've been hosting watch-a-longs for the iconic Twin Peaks series from Season 1 pilot onwards. So far, we've done episodes 1-5, and that's been pretty awesome. 

Reason I'm writing about this is because this is a possible way we can keep the Twin Peaks fandom alive after the death of David Lynch. For the past two weeks looking for new members to join the Twin Peaks... From Another Place Discord server, I've been so surprised how many people haven't seen the series and are so fresh to everything about it. And they've all been interested enough to join the server to see what it's all about. 

Their first watching of the pilot blew their minds. They loved it so much, they've been hooked to watch more. And they've stayed around and enjoyed every bit of it, and that's something amazing to know and be amazed by. I've asked them about their favorite characters so far, what their thoughts are on certain themes, and if they find it 'all too dreamy?' Lmao!

 

I think this will bring fresh meat to the fandom and will keep the community alive even more through fresh eyes and mindsets, etc. And since Facebook took away group chats for whatever reason, Discord is now the more common chatting location for Twin Peaks and David Lynch fandom.
